EXCELLENTVerified Delightful macarons! Noticed the shop in York during our December visit, but did not have chance to make a purchase. However, up visiting family again so was on the top of my wish list this time! Did not regret…the macarons had a slight crisp with the first bite, then into the delicious soft-chewy centre, whilst all being light and airy. All flavours were divine, but would most definitely recommend trying the mojito! We live in Suffolk, yet we are fairly "well travelled" in the field of macaron exploration. We thought that our journey had concluded with Macarons and More, a Norwich based small company who create spectacular macarons and brownies. However, upon reading the recent edition of the Waitrose magazine, by happy chance I saw a piece about Florian Poirot's creations. We simply had to try them! The price was fair and the flavours exciting. Upon sampling we could only feel that they are BETTER than absolutely any macarons we have ever had the distinct pleasure of trying, be they of comparable flavourings or new thrilling varieties. I soon put in a second order, we have just received it by next day delivery expertly packaged. We simply cannot wait to put the kettle on for cappuccinos to happily continue our macaron education. Bravo!!! Plus their brownies and muscovado cookies are also exceptional. 10/10 Recommended with all the zeal and enthusiasm humanly possible! Rang the bell on arrival and a friendly woman shouted she wouldn’t be long. Was very pleasant and helped us choose macarons and chocolates. The macarons were excellent - light and fluffy with ample filling. Chocolate flavours and quality were very good. Definitely a must if you’re in Malton!Posted onVerified Some of the best macaron ever I’ve eaten them from all over the place, home and abroad including Paris of course, and Florian’s flavours are second to none. I was a little sceptical of a Guinness macaron for example or Basil and Raspberry, but the flavours pop and the textures are perfect, crisp shell, chewy unctuous filling. Chose my despatch day and they arrived the following day. Packaging was excellent and the macarons were in perfect condition, they had a 7 day shelf life but you don't need to worry about that as they are so good they won't last that long. The flavours were so natural and some fabulous combinations, I tried 11 of the flavours and all were divine. It arrived very promptly. The Macarons were so unusual (in a good way) with delicious flavours - all natural. Not cheap but definitely worth it for a special treat. Found here when having a wander around Malton and it was open on a Sunday. As we were going for lunch, we just indulged in a macaron each - pistachio and lemon and bergamot. Lovely as a treat, and will be back to enjoy some more. Man working there was very patient with us trying to use Google Pay when we had left our money and cards in our car. Hats off to you, sir!
